He is very big yes, I don't know exactly how high at the shoulder.. but significantly taller than an average German Shepherd. :)

he is beautiful!! Which breeder did you get him from? And how are his mannerisms? Do you consider him a good pet or smart?

Thanks! :) And we didn't get him from a breeder, we adopted him from an animal shelter. Quite crazy huh? Anyway, he's very smart and slowly getting more playful, but it took a lot of time before he came to trust us. He can't be trusted with other people and dogs unfortunately, I'm guessing he's had a terrible puppyhood. If he had been raised properly, he would have been the best dog you could imagine, but he's not comfortable with strangers.

I hope you don't mind me editing your photo. It's the one iantojonesy was referring to in that link. I did it years ago, but my friend recently posted it to tumblr and it blew up. I made sure it got proper credit.

He's very popular, and pretty.
If I do say so myself, he kind of looks like a Belgian Shepherd.
